Enhance Operations

My experience as an entrepreneur and leader in the field of education technology is vital to navigating the changing role technology plays in K-12 education. Smart use of technology can improve the efficiency and efficacy of SUSD for daily operations, communications, and accessing innovative learning models.

I understand that artificial intelligence, mobile devices, social apps, virtual reality, and related technologies are fundamentally changing the classroom and school community (and children) in ways that require proactive policies.  SUSD must strike the right balance to harness these available tools while, first and foremost, prioritizing student safety and privacy.  We must respect experienced educators when making decisions.  And, lastly, we must seek out the most cost effective practices, ever respectful of our tax payers’ investment in our schools.
