Prioritize Education

Insist on a Governing Board that focuses its agenda on education, not politics, and how to make SUSD the clear choice for all families.

The core responsibility and focus of our Governing Board should be supporting and holding accountable our district leadership in pursuit of the shared goal that SUSD families choose our public schools and succeed in our public schools.  Our SUSD is the “goldilocks” size with the scale to bring resources and options to all types of learners, while retaining the sense of togetherness and community that fosters a sense of belonging.  I understand the value of focus for any organization, and our focus must remain on the topics and priorities that advance SUSD as a premier school district in Arizona and the nation.
